Our team of experienced mental health professionals is passionate about transforming effective psychological therapy into practical online tools to help you manage your mental health.

THIS WAY UP is led by clinical director Dr Mike Millard and run by clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, health workers, researchers, web technicians, communications and implementation specialists. We are based at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression (CRUfAD) – a joint facility of St Vincent’s Hospital and the University of New South Wales.

Who we are

We develop, test, and release scientifically-based online programs that help treat anxiety and related mental health conditions. All of our programs are based on the clinically-proven Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

How to Start

Start learning today in just three simple steps

Step 1 - Choose

Select a program that is relevant to the difficulties you’ve been having or take our anonymous online test to see which program is for you.

Step 2 - Enrol

Enrol in your chosen program using the sign-up prompts on the screen. You can get instant access for $59 or speak with your clinician to enrol for free.

Step 3 - Begin!

The most important step is to start! We know that our programs work, but you have to implement the strategies you learn to improve.
